- In remembrance of the recent tragedies experienced by LGBTQ youth and the struggles faced by LGBTQ people everywhere, I've added an equal sign to my signature to raise awareness, emphasize my commitment to social justice, and identify myself as an ally. Please join me by adding an = to your signature.
- Please note: Most of my replies will be written on this talk page, rather than on your talk page.
- Also note: It is my policy not to delete or remove dialog from this page. Everything (except some spam) will be saved and archived. Please don't later remove from here what you've written. So think first before you hit Save page.
- If I do not reply to you immediately, it is not because I am ignoring you; I might be in the middle of a project on or offline :)
- If and when we disagree, it is never personal. I respect you.
- If you're thinking about retiring, *please* talk to me first either here, IRC or email, so I can dissuade you and help solve what's needling you.
- Lastly, a note to banned users who stop by: Stop editing immediately, serve your sentence, and then come back and play nice. I will gladly welcome you back and collaborate with you - once you've served your time properly, and as long as you act accordingly.
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:04, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Video
[edit]The video is improperly posted. You reverted other edits in addition to the video. A poll has yet to be conducted on posting said video. There is no permission given for it to be up either. Delectable1 (talk) 19:54, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- State your case in the article's talk page. That's the proper way, not through a series of edit reverts. Kingturtle = (talk) 19:55, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- I don't want to argue with an editor that made the video. They have an obvious interest in seeing it added. I did reach out to another admin. No poll was conducted, no consensus reached. Delectable1 (talk) 19:59, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Take your points to the article's talk page :) Kingturtle = (talk) 20:00, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]It appears that Delectable1 has again reverted the CCTV addition. I'm not sure what to do, as I have tried to talk and start a discussion on the matter and they just keep reverting stuff. EF5 19:58, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hopefully Delectable1 will use the article's talk page to discuss matters surrounding the video. That way we can have a conversation about it there. Kingturtle = (talk) 20:00, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hopefully, I wasn't planning on spending my Saturday quasi-arguing with others. :) EF5 20:02, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
